Game-Changing Resources I Learned About This Week

These 3 FREE tools saved me at least 3 hours this week.

I found them after listening to what some of my colleagues used and doing a little searching myself. It's amazing what a little listening can do for you (maybe there's a life lesson here...).

Frontify is the best way for freelance designers to create a branding document for clients.

Frontify is probably the biggest game-changer. It is an online app that makes it dead simple to create a style guide for your clients. And it's even simple to use (and works on any device in the browser) so your clients might actually use it!

COST: Unlimited Free (Paid Extras)

Rewordify helps any freelancer double-check their writing to make sure it's clear and easy to understand. It's not perfect but it's a great starting place.

Rewordify alerts me when I’m using unintelligible lingo unclear language. It's a great first-pass editor for people who are starting to write more but aren't necessarily Hemmingway.

The site is built mostly for language learners, but it's a great way to simplify your writing as well.

COST: Always Free

I can geek out, but I'm surprised to find that it even extends to spreadsheets. You've got to check it out. Not only can you use it to organize your life, but you can also automatically create online forms that auto-populate into your sheets. That includes an option for file uploads in the forms.

COST: Unlimited Free (Paid Extras)

All of these tools are worth paying for—and none of them restrict you if you're not able to. I say "Unlimited Free" because you have full use of the apps with mostly just going-big-time features that are unavailable at the free level.
